Serving as Chief of the Air Force Post Office – CMSgt Purcell Brown, USAF (Ret.)

Special delivery! We were fortunate recently to sit down with CMSgt Purcell Brown, USAF (Ret.), a Foundation donor, as he shared the story of his service. He said, “It means a lot to people like us that the Museum works so hard to keep stories alive for the brave men and women who have served in the USAF.” Among his favorite stories is his time as Chief of the Air Force Post Office at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, in 1970 – watch the first video to find out what made this experience so memorable for him. In the second video, Chief Brown explains why he chose to leave the legacy of the Air Force Postal and Courier Association in the hands of the Foundation after the AFPCA disbanded.
Chief Brown, we’re very grateful for your generosity to the Foundation!
